Lost Season 1
I watch this siries due its reputation. The shows get several awards which i dont know. =p But it has become one of the famous tv show at its time.
The story began when a passenger jet break apart in the mid air, crash landing on a tropical island somewhere in the pacific ocean. Left without the creature comforts and basic nessecities of civilizaitions, the 48 survivors are forced to rely upon one another to stay alive - and given the personality quirks of these survivors, these wont be easy during the 1st season of the ABC hits siries Lost. Generally with the help of flasback, viewers can learn a number of deep dark secrets about the cast-aways on the need-to-know basis especially the demon plaguing Dr jack Shephard and one-hit-wonder rock star Charlie Pace. Even so often the crisis arises for the principle purpose of revealing a hitherto unknown an unsuspected aspect of one of the character. Inevitably, hostilites both minor and serious arise from the basic fundamental difference among the survivors. Korean couple, Ji and Sun are unable to uphold their family traditions under the circumstances, while their unability to speak english create an additional barriers between themselves and the others and the mc gyver-like the resourcefulness of former iraqi republican guard - sayid is not enough to overcome the racism of some of his fellow passenger. Then there is the unfriendly aura of the island itself, with its insrcutable topography, and the bizzare menagerie of wild animals, ranging from a polar bear to a (possible) dinasour! Also the discovery in one episode of two long dead bodies certainly does nothing to uplift the rescue hope of the helpless survivors. And finally, there seems to be someone else on the island…someone not the passenger list…someone who kidnaped two of the castaways and threathen to kill the rest one by one. The one overriding question near the end of the season 1 is : who among the major characters will not make it to sesason 2?
For my opinion, this siries really worth as its carefull story about the character before the meet each other and how they connect to the fight. some events may confuse us as they only will be told in the next season. it also tell a lot about surviving life in an island in a very premitive way. almost same as ‘cast away’ but happened in a group of people.
