3. coursework vs research prog…yg pd aku terpulang kpd individu…kalo org tu jenis yg bleh blaja independant, amik research….yg malas cam aku amik coursework…dua2 kena buat thesis cuma yg by research thesis dia lebih detail…nanti dah sem 3, yg amik course work bleh buat pilihan samada nak buat thesis atau non-thesis…adv buat thesis ni sbb dia academic paper…so kalo nak apply lec, menda ni ada credit…utk non-thesis lebih kpd org yg nak kerja dlm industri…

4. utk kewangan time blaja, aku cadangkan lepas degree, keja dulu baru amik master….sbb time buat master byk pakai duit….thnx to government sbb ada budget mini…so lepas jugak la duit yuran….cuma duit sara hidup kena usaha sendiri la….so pd pemerhatian aku, master bagus utk org yg disponsor oleh tempat keja dia utk sambung master….sbb duit suma dah ditanggung + lepas dah abih buat master, dah ada tempat nak keja….prog master ni jugak bagus kalo amik part time esp yg keja under goverment….sbb ada master tangga gaji akan naik….so time buat master tu ada duit gaji keja utk sara hidup cuma amik masa lama utk abihkan prog…kalo full time 1 tahun setengah, bagi yg part time 2tahun setengah…

so tepuk dada tanya selera…..kadang2 bila org kata “ada duit suma jadi” mmg rasa nak marah….tp menda ni mmg betul…cuma nak nasihat, bila dah amik tu, jgn sia2kan duit yg abih tu…blaja betul2…moga2 penat lelah, masa dan wang yg kita korbankan tu akan berbaloi dgn apa yg kita dpt nanti…:)

1st skali congrates kat brazil sbb skali lagi berjaya menjulang piala konfed selepas mengalahkan usa 3-2. acctually masa ketinggalan 0-2 time 1st half kecut jugak aku…tp tgk dorng main masa nak kejar balik game tu, mmg rasa brazil mcm bleh dpt gol…. walaupun dorng dah mng, aku harap brazil x jadi mcm time worldcup 2006 dulu….byk lagi yg perlu diperbaiki…player mcm robinho ngan luis fabiano bleh jadi makin mantap kalo diorang dpt stablize dorng punya emosi ngan mindset….kaka mmg seperti yg diduga…jadik nadi dlm gerakan brazil….tp sbb xda ronaldinho, nampak mcm terlalu rely kat kaka sgt….harap dunga akan fikirkan perkara2 ni nanti sblm ke worldcup 2010 nanti.

kat tournament ni aku dpt tgk beberapa player brazil yg baru diserapkan dan agak berpotensi seperti a.santos, filipe milo, ngan ramirez….pato jugak belum dpt menunjukkan kebolehan…harap dia jugak akan meningkat lepas ni…plg best a.santos….cuma posisi dia clash ngan daniel alves….

sepanyol plak dpt tempat ke-3 slps mengalahkan afrika selatan. pun aku ingat spain nak kalah dah time 0-1 tu…tp gol penyamaan afrika selatan time 2-2 mmg best… dlm waktu kecederaan….teringat kat turki time euro 2008. masa tournament ni stat, aku target spain vs brazil time final….tp x sangka plak usa dpt kalahkan dorng..maybe sbb xda iniesta antara dorng hilang sengat kot….game tu aku x sempat tgk sbb kat s.alam…. ni semata2 nak tgk final aku balik johor…dan rasa mcm berbaloi jugak la sbb tgk 2 game yg best lebih2 lagi tgk team fav aku - brazil menang slps ketinggalan 2 gol dan muncul juara…:)

utk worldcup nanti, seperti biasa aku akan support brazil….dan jugak seterunya argentina….:) dan aku jugak akan support spain ngan german - team yg aku target utk final 2008 dan betul plak tekaan aku tu…:p….

I remember watching this show in year around 2004-2005 at 8tv. the synopsis kinda attract me(and mischa barton is really beautiful of course). i dont watch the complete siries at that time and luckly today i bought the dvd set n done watching it.

Destined to run an impressive 27 hour-long episodes (as opposed to the usual 22), season one of The O.C. wastes little time in setting up its premise: trouble-prone teenager Ryan Atwood (Ben McKenzie), booted out of his Chino home and apparently foredoomed to a life of crime, is “rescued” by idealistic pro bono defense attorney Sanford “Sandy” Cohen (Peter Gallagher). Over the initial protests of his former beauty-queen wife, Kirsten (Kelly Rowan), Sandy invites Ryan to live in the pool house of the Cohens’ lavish Newport Beach home in California’s very upscale Orange County. Quickly making friends with the Cohen’s intellectual-loner son, Seth (Adam Brody), Ryan also makes a good impression on his attractive next-door neighbor Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) — much to the disgust of Marissa’s jock boyfriend, Luke Ward (Chris Carmack).

Unfolding in a serial-like fashion, the remainder of the season details the disintegrating marriage of Marissa’s parents, Jimmy Cooper (Tate Donovan) and his avaricious wife, Julie (Melinda Clarke) (who later has an affair with the cast-off Luke); Sandy’s job switch, which causes friction in his relationship with Kirsten vis-à-vis his sexy new law partner Rachel Hoffman (Bonnie Somerville); the decision by Sandy and Jimmy to jointly purchase Newport Beach’s favorite restaurant, the Lighthouse; Marissa’s self-destructive behavior during a vacation in Mexico, and her ill-fated association with the duplicitous Oliver Trask (Taylor Handley); Seth’s dilemma as he tries to choose between two girlfriends, Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson) and Anna Stern (Samaire Armstrong); and the disruptive machinations of Kirsten’s high-rolling father, Caleb (Alan Dale), and her hedonistic sister, Hailey (Amanda Rhigetti). The cliffhanger climax of The O.C.’s first season is dominated by two major events: the wedding of the series’ two most selfish and mercenary characters, and some devastating news delivered by Theresa (Navi Rawat), Ryan’s former girlfriend from his Chino days.

For me this show is really one of the best for its theme. You can say its kinda similar style with one tree hill but the storyline is different. It tell a lot about teenager’s life, loving husband and wife and parent and also the strong and good heart of the main character-ryan. (Spoiler: the ending is very sad and touching but very well delivered.)

almost same time with the telecast of prison break, heroes for me have become one of the famous show during its time. all my classmate are crazy about this show and copy series in their hardrive for own collection including me.

The series centers on a group of people around the world who have developed strange abilities. Los Angeles cop Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) can read minds. In Las Vegas, Niki Sanders (Ali Larter) has a deadly split personality, while her ex-husband D.L. Hawkins (Leonard Roberts) can pass through solid objects and allow solid objects-like bullets-pass through him. Their son, Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey), can “talk” to computers. In Odessa, Texas, cheerleader Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) discovers that she is indestructible. Briefly left battered and bruised by a car accident, she heals within minutes. Her father (Jack Coleman) has secrets of his own. Japanese Star Trek fan Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) can bend time and space. When he witnesses the destruction of New York City while jaunting through time, he sets out with his best friend, Ando Masahashi (James Kyson Lee), to save the world. In New York, hospice nurse Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) has vivid dreams about flying, but discovers that it’s his brother, Senate candidate Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) who actually possesses this ability. Peter’s abilities are by association. Painter Isaac Mendez (Santiago Cabrera) paints pictures and writes comic books that come true. Indian professor Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) has come to New York to continue his late father’s quest to find “patient zero” who might offer the key to these special abilities.

As the series progresses, we begin to realize that all of these suddenly gifted individuals are interconnected in ways both large and small. Many of them also begin to understand that they must come together to defeat the mysterious Sylar (Zachary Quinto), a serial killer who is eating the brains of the heroes in order to absorb their powers, and who may be responsible for the impending nuclear explosion that threatens to destroy New York. With its complex, intertwining storylines and comic book stylings, delving any further into the plot would take away from the fun.

The interesting point of the series is the how they bring the connection about the character. the characters also have x-men like power yet with different story like comic book style that make it very interesting. while in the intense when figthting with the villain, the show can make u laugh with hiro with his childish character. there are also nice stun and and visual during in the show that can make u ‘wow!’. overall this is a must see tv series. it is complex when connecting the story pieces yet understandable.

aku ni bukan minat sgt bab2 politik ni. tp akhir2 ni keaadan kat m’sia ni makin parah pada pandangan aku. so kalo org jenis mcm aku pun terkisah ngan keadaan ni musti ada sbb kan?

ada 2, 3 kes kat m’sia baru2 ni yg melibatkan politik pada aku mmg memalukan negara ni. bermula dgn krisis politik kat perak, rasuah di kalangan YB dun&parlimen ngan terbaru pasal pilihanraya kat penanti.

apapun ni cuma pandangan peribadi aku. so tidak melibatkan pengaruh dr mana2 pihak, k. 1st pasal kat perak. pendapat aku tindakan najib pergi terus mintak jadik kerajaan tanpa undi x percaya merupakan satu silap besar. 2 dr 3 yb yg lompat tu sblm ni mmg masuk berita pasal dorng ada tuduhan rasuah. dan kredibiliti kerajaan baru yg dilantik mmg dipersoal ler sbb yb yg merlompat tu ada kes. lagi satu kalo korang perasaan lepas dorng lompat je kes tu terus dah xda bunyi. so? sendiri mau ingat ler. ada ler sbb musbab nyer tu. xnak ler menserkap jarang tanpa bukti ni.

yg terbaru pasal bn xnak bertanding kat penanti jugak merupakan lagi satu salah langkah najib. kalah menang tu belakang kira ler. kalo ikut slogan rakyat didahulukan kena la pikir bukan semua org kat penanti tu sokong pr. lagipun belum cuba belum tau. pd aku imej bn teruk terjejas sbb penarikan diri dr bertanding kat penanti.

aku bukan menyokong pr. dua2 pihak ada baik dan buruk masing2. kalau pr jadi kerajaan aku jugak sangsi pasal kredibiliti dorng sbb masih belum ada permuafakatan pasal sapa yg akan jadik pm? pastu mcmmana dgn kedudukan org melayu? kita bleh tgk kat perak. kalo bukan sbb campurtangan sultan, menteri dorng ni bukan nizar.

so aku harap kita sama2 berfikir untuk memilih org yg betul dan sama2 ler kita doakan kesejahteraan m’sia ni. x sanggup ler aku duduk kat negara yg huru hara…

This tv shows has become a very famous show and phenomenon during its time. The complexity of breaking a very high security prison has become a main point in this series.

“Prison Break” may seem absurd in premise, a man enters prison with intricate plans to break out with his brother, a death row inmate, but the show´s execution is one that intrigues and entertains episode after episode. Executive produced by Brett Ratner, who also directed the pilot episode, and created by writer Paul Scheuring, the show is more intelligent, clever, and engaging than it deserves to be. It´s a slow bubbling pot of plot twists, action and characterization, offering glimpses into the lives of a group of inmates, all of who posses lives that may seem black and white but actually bleed shades of gray.

The series revolves around Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), a structural engineer, who lives in a penthouse apartment and from the looks of things lives a pretty good life. However, in one motion he throws it all away, seemingly destroying a bevy of information he has been collecting in his apartment and then attempting armed robbery in a bank. During his arraignment, Scofield shows very little remorse, pleading no contest and the judge slaps him with a five year term to be served at Fox River penitentiary.

Once inside things start to add up. It seems Scofield is planning something and it involves his brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), who has been convicted of murdering the Vice President´s brother. Scofield brilliantly navigates the system, having planned, in advance, his every move and anticipating almost every alternative. He´s tattooed, on his body (shirt and sleeve style), necessary bits of information and the blueprints for Fox River, but the blue prints don´t look like blue prints at all and are deftly hidden in the images now permanently inked on his body.

The show isn´t just about these guys trying to break out of prison. From the get go there is a higher power lurking in the shadows surrounding the Burrows case, and it isn´t until Burrows ex-girlfriend/attorney, Veronica (Robin Tunney), starts investigating the case that things start to unravel. Veronica slowly starts to piece together a conspiracy reaching all the way to the upper echelons of political office. Combine this with an eclectic mix of inmates that are brought to help Scofield and Burrows escape and what we´re left with is an extremely captivating show. The series effortlessly piles on twist after twist, while providing an excellent build up of suspense.

Despite the centrality of Miller and Purcell in the lead roles, who are both exceptionally good in their respective roles, the series shines because of its supporting cast. Peter Stormare gives his John Abruzzi a Shakespearean touch, a mob boss who plays an important role in the escape; Robert Knepper gives an incendiary turn as Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell, a wretch of human being edging his way into the plan, and Rockmond Dunbar plays C-Note, a not so typical thug with more to his past than it seems, with an excellent edge. The stands outs, however, are Muse Watson as Charles Westmorland, who may or may not be the infamous hijacker D.B. Cooper. Watson lends his character a sense of grace and poise under the most dire of circumstances; and then there is also Amaury Nolasco as Fernando Sucre, who is quite charming as a man who is waiting to get home to the woman he loves.

For me, this show realy gives the boom factor to its upcoming season. The complexity, intense and full of unexpected event happen during the breaking attempt make this show gives a goose bumps to those who watch it. U can see the deep thinking of the main character-micheal to all his plan to break from the prison that have all type of possibility and options of the action.

I watch this siries due its reputation. The shows get several awards which i dont know. =p But it has become one of the famous tv show at its time.

The story began when a passenger jet break apart in the mid air, crash landing on a tropical island somewhere in the pacific ocean. Left without the creature comforts and basic nessecities of civilizaitions, the 48 survivors are forced to rely upon one another to stay alive - and given the personality quirks of these survivors, these wont be easy during the 1st season of the ABC hits siries Lost. Generally with the help of flasback, viewers can learn a number of deep dark secrets about the cast-aways on the need-to-know basis especially the demon plaguing Dr jack Shephard and one-hit-wonder rock star Charlie Pace. Even so often the crisis arises for the principle purpose of revealing a hitherto unknown an unsuspected aspect of one of the character. Inevitably, hostilites both minor and serious arise from the basic fundamental difference among the survivors. Korean couple, Ji and Sun are unable to uphold their family traditions under the circumstances, while their unability to speak english create an additional barriers between themselves and the others and the mc gyver-like the resourcefulness of former iraqi republican guard - sayid is not enough to overcome the racism of some of his fellow passenger. Then there is the unfriendly aura of the island itself, with its insrcutable topography, and the bizzare menagerie of wild animals, ranging from a polar bear to a (possible) dinasour! Also the discovery in one episode of two long dead bodies certainly does nothing to uplift the rescue hope of the helpless survivors. And finally, there seems to be someone else on the island…someone not the passenger list…someone who kidnaped two of the castaways  and threathen to kill the rest one by one. The one overriding question near the end of the season 1 is : who among the major characters will not make it to sesason 2?

For my opinion, this siries really worth as its carefull story about the character before the meet each other and how they connect to the fight. some events may confuse us as they only will be told in the next season. it also tell a lot about surviving life in an island in a very premitive way. almost same as ‘cast away’ but happened in a group of people.

I forgot when i started  watch this show on tv. i think it played at 8tv around 2003 or 2004. To be honest, the real reason why i attaracted to watch this show in the first time is i like peyton’s eyes (hillary burton) in the tv sneak peak =p. So started to watch this show episode by episode and started to feel the interesting storyline of One Tree Hill.

The first season deal with the first half of the main character - Lucas, Nathan, Peyton, Brooke and Haley junior year. (up to the first game of the state championship). Major storyline include the rivalry between Nathan and Lucas, the blossoming of Nathan and Haley relationships, the set up of Brooke-Lucas-Peyton love triangle. the parents own love quadrangle and the basketball state championship. The story really states the mind of teenagers who are in love, being left by parents and how the different type of chracther being connected in 1 story.

For me, One Tree Hill a very relaxing story. U dont need to catch the every episode as the storyline is very slow and steady and understandable even u miss 1 or 2 episodes. This is a tv show that is suitable to the teenagers and some of the moral of the story can be used in our life like the being independent, works towards ur dream and being a good mother @ father.

I watch this series due to my friends reccomendaton. ive heard about this show around year 2001 but at that time im at USM penang so i didnt have much time to watch tv. i bought the 1st season(of course the pirate version ^^) as experimenting the new style of the show that is to bring a time in the movie equal to the actual life time.

Summary:

Jack Bauer, a former Delta Force operator is the Director of the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) in Los Angeles. He has to fight some enemies as his wife, Teri and his daugther are kinapped by some mercenaries who try to involve Jack in Senator David Palmer assasination by forcing him to do it. As proffesional, Jack faces a dilemma as he must protect Senator David Palmer while also try to free his wife and daughter. Unfortunately, his effort is being stabbed in the back by his former lover Nina Myers (i love her character ^^) as she acctually is a spy in the CTU, working for terrorist. The terrorist main objective is to kill the oprative who were sent to kill Victor Drazen in kosovo 2 year prior to the event time frame. During the operation, Drazen was not revealed but his wife and daughter were inadvertently killed.  Why Bauer and Senator Palmer? Because they are believed as the remaining operatives still alive and retaliation shall be done. CTU as a vital unit for country plays important role to counter the terrorist although it inevitably has been taken advantages by the terrorist.

Personal opinion:

This is a very unique experience of a tv show that have a same timeline with the actual reallife. Thats not the only the strong point of the series btw. The story line is so intense as the story goes on make u feel want to stay to watch the show. U have to be patient if u watch this on tv. if u have free time, i would recommend u watch it through DVDs. The main chracter - Jack Bauer is very strong character that make the show is realy interesting. u will have no idea what jack will doing to obtain his objective.
